What’s it all about?
Sarah’s hair keeps getting in her way, so it’s time for a trip to the hairdressers.
This is the episode where:
• Sarah’s hair is getting bit long!
• She doesn’t want to get it cut, but it keeps getting in her way, so she has to go to the Hair Salon at the Big Shop
• Sarah is a little nervous at first, but with some distractions from Duck wearing some funny wigs, she realises that getting her hair cut isn’t so bad after all!
This is what we learn...
- A hair salon is a place you go to get a hairdresser to cut your hair and make it look nice
- Getting your hair cut can make you feel nervous, but it isn’t so bad
- When you go to the hairdressers, you sit in a chair in front of a mirror while the hairdresser uses a comb and scissors to trim your hair
- A wig is a bit like pretend hair – they come in all sorts of colours and styles and are fun to wear
- Helping to cheer up or distract a friend in need is a good thing to do
